South Africa celebrated major international success across both the 2025 FISAF International Sport Aerobics & Fitness World Championships and the 2024 Hip Hop Unite World Championships, with standout podium finishes from local athletes and crews.

At the 2025 FISAF World Championships, Tlhakiso Wilson Mafona delivered an outstanding performance in the Sport Aerobics Individual Male Masters 30+ category, earning a silver medal after finishing second in a three-athlete field. Mafona, representing Fun Fitness and coached by Wilson Mafona, also secured an additional third-place ranking, closing off a strong showing for the South African team.

The 2024 Hip Hop Unite World Championships brought another set of impressive results. Sublime Crew claimed the world title in the Small Crew Senior 35+ division, becoming world champions after a top-class performance. The group consists of Courtney Allison, Simone Hepburn, Terri le Roux, Chantal Mc Clure, Sarah Rennison and Jacinta Richardson, coached by Corinne de Beer and Duane Lawrence of Club Diversify.

South Africa also earned a silver medal through Zinzi Rhodes in the Youth Solo Battles 12–17 age group. Representing Set4Dance and coached by Ignatius Pastor, Rhodes secured a place on the podium after a strong competitive run.
